The Ryan Razooky Trainer Internship is an opportunity for aspiring trainers to develop the skills, experience, and business acumen to build their own training business.
In this 90 Day in-person Internship, you'll be hands-on with World Leading Basketball Trainer, Ryan Razooky, and his team across two gyms in San Diego, California.
Over this 90-day program, you'll be taken through a 3-phase system, that gives you everything you need to succeed with your own training business.
You'll gain exposure to MILLIONS of basketball players across Ryan and I Love Basketball's social media audience.
And we even show you how to market and close clients & even have new clients waiting on you in your hometown once you return!
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Month 1
Foundation
During your first 30 days, we focus directly on your training. Making sure you develop the knowledge, experience, and frameworks necessary to diagnose weaknesses and provide quality short and long term solutions for players in the form of drills, training plans, and advice.
Over the entire 90 day program, we will work consistently to build your knowledge and experience as a basketball trainer.
Month 2
Business Systems
In Phase 2 (Days 31-60) we focus heavily on HOW to run a gym efficiently, safely and professionally.
From offer creation and packaging to standard operating procedures, to safety, to legality, you leave with clarity on exactly how to properly run your business.
You'll get access to everything we use to run our gyms, and give you complete clarity on expenses, hiring/onboarding trainers, and more.
Month 3
Marketing & Promotion
During Phase 3 (Days 61-90) we focus on sales, lead generation techniques, and onboarding.
We'll teach you content creation techniques, online marketing and business practices, and local marketing actions that convert to leads and new members.
We'll begin implementing these tactics during Phase 3 so you likely leave San Diego with new clients onboarding when you get home!

We will follow up with you if we determine you're the right fit for this opportunity. If you're not selected, we can add you to a waiting list to revisit in the future if you'd like.
We'll plan an interview conversation with Ryan or a team member, and then begin a standard background check and proper agreement outlining the Internship Opportunity.
Ryan and Team will follow up with dates, get you in touch with the host family if you choose to stay with them, and give you the next steps to work together!

How to get 40 clients, how to charge for training, how to secure your own gym, how to build your own training academy, how to succeed on social media, how to be the top trainer in your city.
